BEYOND BINARY

Gender identity no longer begins with pre-existing male/female constructs and juxtapositions. Beyond Binary is a hypothetical exhibition hosted by the Museum of Sex to educate and visitors of gender issues debated in today’s society. X=Y is a visual testimony from a dedicated group of artists working within the queer culture to expose the riches of the modern gender experience.

Understanding happens when the content engages the user with personal and relevant stories. Through this kind of storytelling, the Beyond Binary exhibition allows the audience to experience stories about an individual who continues to experience gender biases that exist today.
